Mohamed Kano, Malcolm and Abdullah Al-Hamdan scored for Al Hilal, while Gustavo Cuéllar netted the solitary goal for Al-Shabab.
Earlier, Al-Hilal beat defending Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad Club 3-1 in the quarter-final. They previously finished second in Group B with four points from three matches.
